Departmental Activities

1) In 2015, a student society named as SPaCE (Society of Power & Control Engineers) was established. Under this society, various academic activities like seminars, presentations, group discussions, and GATE classes are conducted. Some EEE students from all years are selected as student association society members to regularize society activities.

2) Every year the department conducts technical fests, workshops, guest lectures, seminars, project expos, and actively participates in celebrations of Engineer’s Day, Teacher’s Day, Women’s Day, etc.

Recent Activities (2016-17)

1) The department actively participated in a Two day national level technical symposium “CONVERGE-2K17” on 27th & 28th February 2017. Various activities like poster presentation, paper presentation, technical quiz, project exposition, just a minute, and cultural participation were organized by the staff and students of the EEE department.

2) A Two day National level Technical Workshop named “INTERNET OF THINGS” was organized by the EEE Department on 27th and 28th January 2017 in collaboration with SMART BRIDGE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES PVT.LTD and in association with Institution of Engineers (INDIA) IEI Student chapter.
